Cookies and storage
Tensil Fit uses no cookies of its own and no advertising, analytics or tracking tools. We use your browser's storage only for the things listed below.
On tensil.fit
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
tensil_wallet_session | Local storage | Keeps you signed in to your Wallet | Until you sign out; the session itself stops working after 24 hours |
tensil_wallet_focus | Session storage | Remembers which part of the Wallet you were looking at | Until you close the tab |
tensil_console_key | Session storage | Brand Console only: keeps a brand signed in | Until the tab is closed |
tensil_admin_session | Session storage | Our staff console only | Until the tab is closed |
All of these are strictly necessary for a service you asked for, so they don't need consent.
On partner brands' websites (the size widget)
When a brand adds the Tensil Fit size widget to its shop, the widget stores these items in your browser on that brand's website (they can't be read by other websites):
| Name | Type | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
tensil_…_vk | Local storage | A random ID for this browser. It lets the widget remember your details on this site and decides, at random, whether you're in the comparison group that doesn't see recommendations (see the privacy notice) | Until you clear your browser storage |
tensil_…_dp | Local storage | Points to the details you entered without signing in, so you don't have to type them again | The details themselves are deleted from our server after 30 days |
tensil_…_st, tensil_…_rt | Local storage | Keep you signed in to Tensil Fit on that brand's site after you link it | Until you sign out or unlink; sign-in stops working after 90 days |
Each brand's own cookie notice and consent tool covers these items, and the brand decides whether to ask for your consent before the widget loads. We require partner brands to do this where the law requires it.
Clearing storage
You can delete all of this in your browser's settings (usually under "site data" or "cookies and site data"). You'll just need to sign in again.
